I came across an article about Michel Dion's mask which had recently sold at an auction for $6500. That's a lot of money to pay for piece of equipment for a goalie that wasn't too well known. His professional career spanned 10 years from 1975 to 1985. That included 2 WHA teams and 4 NHL teams. He would best remembered for his four years with the Penguins. Below is his famous mask that had a duck bill at the end of it. It was quite distinctive which likely is why it went for as much money as it did.
