What a tragedy. Just 28 years old. Boogaard was a fan favourite in Minnesota is the 5 years he played there. He was an intimidating figure on the ice at 6'7" and 265 lbs. This season was short for Boogaard as it ended on December 9 as a result of a concussion. I hope his sudden death isn't related to his injury. An autopsy is being conducted.
