Thank You Kessel!

The animals weren't chanting Kessel's name tonight at the TD Garden. He finally knocked the monkey off his back and scored his first two career goals against the Bruins. The first one he just batted the puck in the air into the net. But the second goal was a beauty. Kessel picks up a loose puck, undresses Andrew Ference and then tucks in the 5 hole behind Tim Thomas.

But the star of the game was Mikhail Grabovski. He takes two crushing hits from Zdeno "Lurch" Chara, doesn't miss a shift and scores two goal. The second was the game winner where he splits the defense and roofs one past Thomas.
