On October 1st I'm participating in a unique and worthwhile event - ROAD HOCKEY TO CONQUER CANCER. The Princess Margaret Hospital is using one of Canada's most cherished pasttimes to win the fight over cancer. I'm putting on the equipment and subjecting my aching arthritic joints to dawn to dusk ball road hockey games at Ontario Place in downtown Toronto.
Most people have friends and familiy members that have had to go through the struggle to fight cancer. If you would like to donate to the great cause please follow the link.
